One man whose position is potentially under-threat at Stamford Bridge is Chelsea first-choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

After arriving at the Blues during the summer of 2018, the Spaniard has yet to find consistency and deliver consistent displays on a regular basis. He has not exactly been an ideal replacement for Thibaut Courtois who left the club during that same summer in order to join Real Madrid.

As second-choice Willy Caballero is 38-years-old, it is unlikely that he will be considered as a potential replacement for Kepa. The following are three promising keepers who can be considered.

1. Dean Henderson

Henderson, who is on loan with Sheffield United from Manchester United, has been promising this season. He has been in superb form for the Blades who are in seventh position on the league standings and in contention for European football next season.

Henderson could be tempted to join the Blues considering that David de Gea could end up keeping the Man United number one role for the long-term.

2. Andre Onana

Onana was one of the stand-out players for the Ajax Amsterdam team which won the Eredivisie and reached the semi-final stage of the Champions League last season. The Cameroon commands himself well in the box and has good position and ball distribution, though his reflexes are something which needs to be improved on. He is just 23 and has time to improve that.

3. Gianluigi Donnarumma

Despite being just 21, Donnarumma already boasts more than 190 appearances for the AC Milan first-team. He has drawn comparisons to the legendary Gianluigi Buffon and is expected to be the Italian first-choice goalkeeper for the long-term.

The already vastly experienced Donnarumma has the potential to become the best keeper in the world in the future. He will be a good long-term investment for the Blues if they manage to sign him.
