The Court of Arbitration for Sport last month lifted sanctions against Chelsea, allowing the Blues to acquire new players this January. However, the London-based club has yet to make any moves.

The club worked extremely hard to have the transfer ban lifted in time for the January window. However, Frank Lampard has said that he is not going to bring in new players this month.

Earlier, several players have been linked to the English club but nobody has been close to signing. And while fans are getting bothered with how the club is acting in the transfer window, the Chelsea boss has maintained that he will not sign or bring in new players just for the sake of it. He further reiterated that he is prepared if no new players join him at Stamford Bridge.
