Merseyside Police have responded to a complaint by the Mayor of Liverpool over Ross Barkley’s transfer to Chelsea from Everton last week.
Chelsea haven’t messed about or wasted time in this transfer window and they have already completed one signing, one that many football fans would have expected in the summer. Blues boss Antonio Conte has spoken out over Chelsea’s failed deadline-day moves for Ross Barkley and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
