Another interesting transfer window in the Premier League has just a few days left with the earlier deadline of before the start of the top-flight season. If previous years are anything to go by then there are still plenty of deals to be done but one that looks increasingly unlikely concerns Chelsea’s pursuit of Robert Lewandowski.
With just over a week left of the transfer window, it is becoming a concern that Chelsea have only made one first-team signing. However, amongst the endless transfer rumours coming out of West London, one that is continuing to gather pace is the one linking them to a move for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
Speculation linking Robert Lewandowski to Chelsea has intensified this week, with reports suggesting the Poland international could be heading to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Despite signing Alvaro Morata in the summer for a club record £60 million, Chelsea have been lacking teeth going forward this season on far too many occasions. Olivier Giroud was signed in January to hopefully go some way towards limiting that problem but it is being reported that the Blues are looking to bring Robert Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge at the end of the transfer window.
