Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic feels that the experience that he has gained with Borussia Dortmund will help him shine with the Blues. The American joined Chelsea during the January transfer window and was immediately loaned back to Dortmund until the end of the season. He is due to join the Stamford Bridge club this summer.

Pulisic is rated as one of the top young talents in world football. Even though he is just 20 years old, he has already made more than 120 senior appearances for Dortmund and scored 19 goals. However, he has not had an ideal season this term due to the rise of youngster Jadon Sancho, who has established himself as the star of the current Dortmund side. This season so far, Pulisic has scored several goals in all competitions from 29 games. The past two seasons were far more successful for him. However, he does have the potential to become a world-class talent and if the Blues give him the correct guidance, he could prove to be a gem in the long run.

Considering the Blues two-window transfer ban, it is expected that Pulisic will be a key player of the first-team as soon as he joins the club. Whether he will successfully adapt to life in England remains to be seen. The youngster said as reported by Eurosport: “I’ve learnt so much as a player and as a person over there in Germany. It’s definitely getting me ready for the big challenges to come.

“[The Chelsea fans] can expect a really good team guy who is going to give everything. He’s going to bring his attacking style to the team and do whatever he can to help the team win games.”

Pulisic is already widely regarded as the greatest male footballer to have come out of the United States. He has already played 25 times and scored ten goals for his country.
